Squeeze Page Marketing
Well, as the name suggests, squeeze page marketing is the process of marketing using a squeeze page. Pretty self-explanatory right? Just in case you don’t know what a squeeze page is, a squeeze page is a web page that you put up to collect people’s contact information, usually their email address. You can also ask for other information such as their mailing address, date of birth, etc, but if you want to achieve a high opt-in conversion (meaning you convert as much visitors as you can to subscribers), then you better ask for these information later AFTER you have their email address on file. Why? Because the more information you ask from people, the less likely they are going to give you. If you only ask for their email address, there is a higher likelihood that they will give you their email. Now that you know what a squeeze page is, let’s talk about squeeze page marketing. Marketing using squeeze pages is done by the following steps: 1. You generate traffic (visitors) to your squeeze page using various traffic generation strategies 2. You turn a portion of these visitors to subscribers 3. You follow up with your subscribers to build relationships with them so that they know, like, and trust you. 4. You sell to your subscribers after you’ve established trust with them 5. You sell yet more products (that increase in price and value) to these subscribers who have become your customers 6. You repeat number 1 thereby generating more and more traffic to the top of your sales funnel. That’s it! That’s squeeze page marketing in a nutshell. It starts from the top of your sales funnel – which is your squeeze page. Hopefully by now, you’ve understood the importance of using a squeeze page in your business.
